Speaker Profile: Dr. Sidd Purkayastha, Technical Director, PureCircle USA Inc.
Dr. Sidd Purkayastha, Technical Director of PureCircle USA brings more than 20 years experience in the Sweetener industry to his position.
Before joining PureCircle, Sidd was with Tate & Lyle R&D, where he developed and marketed innovative ingredient technology, managed domestic and global technical projects on food ingredients and wellness platform.
He has broad knowledge of the structure-function of food ingredients, including sweeteners, acids, hydrocolloids, starch and starch-derivatives.
Dr. Purkayastha earned his doctorate in food engineering from the University of Massachusetts and MBA from the University of Illinois.
