Speaker Profile: Prof. J. O. Atteh, Professor of Animal Nutrition, University of Ilorin
Professor Atteh is a Professor graduated from the University of Guelph, Canada, where he obtained M.Sc and Ph.D in Animal Nutrition.
Prof Atteh has been an academic staff of the Department of Animal Production, University of Ilorin, Nigeria for about 25 years. His academic/research specialization is in the area of Unconventional Feed Resources for monogastric animals.
Professor Atteh was a recipient of the Hubbard Farm Fellowship and also the Poultry Science Research Award given by the Poultry Science Association in recognition of the quality papers published. He is on the Honors Roll of the Nigerian Society for Animal Production . He has served as a livestock resource person for several World Bank Assisted Agricultural Development Projects in Nigeria and is a consultant to many feed millers and livestock farmers. He has been visiting professor to several Universities both in Nigeria and abroad. He is married with four children.
