<p>Prof Atteh has been an academic staff of the Department of Animal Production, University of Ilorin, Nigeria for about 25 years. His academic/research specialization is in the area of Unconventional Feed Resources for monogastric animals.</p>
<p>Professor Atteh was a recipient of the Hubbard Farm Fellowship and also the Poultry  Science Research Award given by the Poultry Science Association in recognition of the quality papers published. He is on the Honors Roll of the Nigerian Society for Animal Production . He has served as a livestock resource person for several World Bank Assisted Agricultural Development Projects in Nigeria and is a consultant to many feed millers and livestock farmers. He has been visiting professor to several Universities both in Nigeria and abroad. He is married with four children.</p>

He recently accepted a new position at WILD Flavors, Inc. as the Senior Director, Sweetener Technology to manage the commercialization and application of stevia and taste modifiers for high intensity sweetners.Prior to that, Greg was the Senior Director of Technology and Innovation at WILD Flavors where his primary roles were to investigate the benefits, application and commercialization of novel health ingredients, natural colors, and specialty ingredients. Greg  previously worked for Pepsi Cola managing the development and national rollout of several new initiatives.</p>
<p>He has presented numerous papers on product development, trends in the beverage industry and new innovations. Greg is serving as the Vice Chairperson of the Non-Traditional Beverage Committee in the International Society of Beverage Technologists (ISBT).</p>
<p>Greg received his Masters in Food Science from University of California- Davis, a Masters in Management from New York Universuty, and a Bachelors in Food Science from Rutgers University.</p>

<p>With international experience in Munich and Stockholm she has six years of industrial experience in manufacturing excellence. She is working as an Ass. Prof. Dr. at the Department of Bioengineering, Faculty of Engineering of Ege University since October, 2007.</p>
<p>Dr. Yesil Celiktas is carrying on research projects in the fields of particle formation (micro- and nanoparticles) and downstream processes particularly in regards to supercritical fluid technology.  Reusage of industrial and forestry wastes and developing value added products out of these wastes are among her current research activities. Extraction of different plant materials such as stevia and application of these extracts into food substrates are being conducted as well.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Dr Andrew Saunders</strong> has been working in food R&amp;D for 20 years after completing a Bachelor of Horticultural Science (Hons) in 1986 and a PhD in Plant Physiology in 1990, both through Massey University (New Zealand).</p>
<p>For 10 years he worked for a university-based applied research and development team supporting the New Zealand food industry, managing that team from 1998-2000.  In 2000 he moved to the New Zealand Dairy Research Institute that subsequently became the Fonterra Research Centre.</p>
<p>He is a Senior Research Technologist for the consumer arm of the cooperative dairy company (Fonterra Brands) carrying out applied research and supporting product development.  His interests include food product reformulation, rheology, extrusion, protein functionality, storage stability, ingredient interactions and sensory evaluation.</p>
<p>He has published several peer reviewed articles, along with over 200 client and company research reports, and has been an active professional member of the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology.</p>

<p>During the recently concluded Stevia World Americas conference, market research house SPINS reported that over 2000 new stevia sweetened products had been launched around the world from 2004-2008. More recently, SPINS identified Zevia as the #1 selling beverage item in the natural beverages category in the US.</p>
